My question is does Online games and cybercafes is the best activities and place to be during your free time? Is this true?

Online games are computer games played on the computer in cybercafes or homes either alone or in competition with other gamers. I say that online games are doing youth more good that harm.

Games keep them away from getting involved in unhealthy activities such as drugs or criminals. Many prefer to play games at cybercafes for entertainment because of the cheap hourly rate. It is a good way to bond with friends and meet new people who share the same interest.

Gamers also think there is nothing wrong with making business out of trading virtual items or high-level avatars in games. Its is possible to earn several thousand ringgit a month by trading virtual items or helping other gamers improve their avatars. Virtual items have value because of the time and effort it take to obtain them. Some students do this part time to help pay college fees. Its also provides job opportunities especially for those who have not completed schooling. They play online games on a competitive basis and are able to earn a decent living doing something they like. This is not illegal as cybercafes operate on licensed premise.

Through online games kids are learning how to earn money by pursuing their interest. This may not seem proper when they are still in school. But , indirectly they are learning entrepreneurial skills. Parents can feel proud of them as long their studies are not affected. It is better than having them waste money loitering in shopping malls.

Cybercafes are also comparatively healthier than other places of entertainment. These place, unlike discos and bars are free of alcohol or drugs and most do not even allow smoking nowadays.

One disadvantage is truancy among school student. Some of them sneak out of school and go to cybercafes. Actually , children will play truant regardless of whether there are online games or cybercafes. Most cybercafes have strict rules that forbid anyone wearing school uniform from entering the premises. Young children are given access only if accompanied by their parents.

Besides that, some of the children will become addicted to the game. They will spent almost of their free time by playing online games. Their studies also will be affected by video games if they can’t control and manage their timetables.

Computer games are developed to provide wholesome entertainment for families. Most have features that block the use of profanity and patrols in the games to promote good behavior. They also provide parental control features to monitor and schedule children's playtime. They do more good than harm.

Boarding school is better than daily school.Is this true?

                Yes ,I agree that  boarding school is better than daily school because boarding school can be a great place to meet teachers, to have fun, to make new friends and can also experience new environment while you're at school, but day school is also a good place to go if you don't like being away from your parents or you have great friends where you are. Both are really great, but boarding school can be really fun and you get really close to the people you meet there.

                Furthermore,in boarding school, there are many special help programmes available such as mentor-mentee programme.The purposes of this  mentor-mentee system is to provide guidance to students about academic matters and to foster a close and constructive professional relationship between students and the staff of the Faculty. While all lecturers in the Faculty are potentially academic advisors to all students who seek their advice, each teacher which is a mentor, is assigned particular responsibility to a small group of students which are the mentees.In daily schools ,programme like this is less held compared to  boarding schools.

                Moreover , students will be more independent in life compared to the students who goes to daily schools. This is because, students who are in boarding schools are mostly far apart from their parents .They have to stay in the hostels in their school. In daily school , students can go back home and meet their parents every day. They rely a lot on their parents unlike the students in boarding schools. For students in boarding schools ,they usually have to make their own decision to do something ,unlike daily school students who always depend on their parents . so in  the future ,they can take care of themselves much better.

                In other scope, boarding school can produce individuals who are very creative. This is because they can make something that daily school cannot do such as dorm decoration. This can talents of a person to more creative and innovative. Although student who studying at daily school can decorate their class room, but in the boarding school, we need to decorated the dorm with some themes that more challenging.

Moreover, many families choose boarding schools for their children because of the college preparation that our schools provide. With small class sizes, diverse curricula, and individual attention from faculty and advisors, the boarding school experience gives students many distinct advantages. So that , student can focus on their education well . At the same time, the teachers can give more attention to individuals who do not understand about some topic as the number of students in the class very little.

As the conclusion, I want to emphasize that boarding schools are better than the normal daily school because of the benefit that we can gain if we can study at boarding school is much better than daily school.

KEEPING PETS GAS MORE DISADVANTAGES THAN ADVANTAGES

Pets are animals which we rear, love and nurture. Whether it is a dog, a cat, a fish or a bird, pets make life more interesting. They also become our companions when we are alone. They make life more interesting for us. Therefore, keeping pets has more advantages than disadvantages.

Pets are also functional as they can help us. Dogs can guard our homes. They have a very strong sense of smell and sight to enable them to see and smell any strangers who may be lurking nearby. Dogs help us feel safer in our homes. They also have a good sense of hearing and easily alert to suspicious sounds at night. Cats are also useful because they can help us keep our homes free from rats and mice. Furthermore, cats are also very cuddly and playful. It is also easy to keep them as they can clean themselves. Rearing fish is also beneficial because it can provide us with an inexpensive way to relax. Fishes are decorative, so it is very calming to watch the fishes swimming in the aquarium.

Keeping pets is also beneficial for children. Children can be given the responsibility caregivers. They learn to be independent and less self-centered by caring for the pets. They will learn how to love and be kind to animals. This also teaches them to be generous, kind and caring people when they grow up.

For childless couples, it is highly recommended for them to keep pets. Pets can bring a couple closer by sharing responsibility of taking care of the pets. Pets also provide companionship when either one of the couple is not around. Pets can also enrich the couple's life by providing them a special kind of relationship as well as a hobby. Couples who have dogs can take their dogs out for walks together or play fetch in the park.

Some people with disabilities also keep pets to help them with their daily tasks. Those who are visually impaired keep guide dogs to help them get around. These guide dogs will go everywhere with their owners to guide and protect them. Others who are paralysed train their dogs to help them around the house like to fetch the newspapers and the mails.

Keeping pets comes with some responsibilities. We have to ensure that they are adequately and regularly fed. This is not a difficult task because pet food is quite cheap and it is easy to prepare. Dogs and cats can be fed with biscuits which come in packs and are ready-to-eat. They can also be fed with canned food which also does not requires no preparation. We must also provide a comfortable place for them to stay.

Keeping pets brings us a lot of joy and benefits. We get to share our lives with our pets and enjoy their company. Pets also add a new dimension to our lives. These are the reasons why I think keeping pets has more advantages and disadvantages.

Should cigarette smoking be banned?

Cigarette smoking should be banned. There’s no compromise for people who smokes. Not only is smoking annoying for non-smokers, but it carries many big problems with it. Cigarette smoking should be banned because of the many factors such as environmental, health risks and the many negative effects it has on everyone.There are hundreds of reasons why cigarette smoking should be banned. One of the many reasons is the effects it has to human health. Cigarette contains many hazardous elements in it such as nicotine, tar, formaldehyde, ammonia and carbon monoxide. I am sure that most, if not all, smokers are aware of some of the health risks that come with smoking cigarettes, but I do not think that they know how serious the risks can be. Smoking will not show its effects in a short time but after a few years of smoking, smokers will witness the changes that occur to them. Smokers are highly risked to get diseases such as lung cancer, tuberculosis, heart disease and many more. Besides that, most smokers are not aware of the fact when they smoke in public, they are not only affecting their own health but also the people around them. In fact, the people who inhale the cigarette smoke have greater risk of getting all the above diseases.Furthermore, cigarette smoking also causes people to waste their money. This is because smoking is addictive. Once you smoke you will most probably want to smoke again. And if this continues, you will use up your money to buy a box of cigarette everyday to satisfy your addiction. It can be considered quite alright to just spend money on cigarettes if you are still single and doesn’t have many responsibilities but imagine if the smoker has a family. I am definitely sure that the smoker will neglect some of his family’s needs just to fulfill his desires to smoke. This can cause internal problems in the family and affect the children of the smoker.Besides that, cigarette smoking should be banned because it can give a very bad influence to children. If children saw plentiful images of people smoking, they might think that smoking is a culture and need to be followed. It is indeed bad to smoke but it is worse to smoke in public. Children have a big possibility to smoke if they watch their family members smoking. Therefore, think before you want to smoke in front of your children or your younger siblings or the best thing to do is to not smoke at all. Try to imagine your children trying to smoke behind your back and lie to you just to get money to buy cigarettes.Last but not least, smoking should be banned because in the aspect of Islam too, it is prohibited for you to consume or do anything that is dangerous to your health. Just like how drug is prohibited in Islam, cigarette is also prohibited. Therefore, it is crystal clear that smoking is bad to people and should be banned worldwide. This is for the benefits for all of us people and also the environment.
